I have 5 bird boxes on back of house and other 4 on front of house. They are all full at the moment with sparrows and tits. I also have robins, wrens, blackbirds, song thrushes and wood pigeon in large pine hedge and trees round garden

I have just been reading your interesting article on bird houses – I was very concerned that the photograph accompanying this article showed a Blue Tit hanging on a net to eat presumably a fat ball. It is a well known fact that small birds get their feet trapped in these nets – would it be possible to have different photo – lots of people may not realise the danger food in nets pose. Thank you.
