Collection: Mynah Bird Food

Mynah birds are softbills with very specific dietary requirements that set them apart from most other cage birds. Unlike seed-eating species, mynahs require a low-iron diet — high iron intake can cause iron storage disease (haemochromatosis), which is a leading cause of illness and death in captive mynahs.

Our mynah bird food range includes:

  • Low-iron mynah pellets — specially formulated complete diets with controlled iron levels; the safest and most convenient staple food for mynahs
  • Softbill & insectivore diets — moist or dry softbill mixes that replicate the varied diet mynahs eat in the wild
  • Fruit-based diets — dried and fresh fruit mixes to supplement the staple diet with natural sugars and vitamins

Avoid feeding mynahs cat food, dog food, mealworms or other high-iron foods. Fresh fruit and vegetables should make up a significant portion of the daily diet alongside a quality low-iron pellet. Free UK delivery available on qualifying orders.
