Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this mix pea-free?
Peas are high in protein and can cause an energy dip after repeated races. Removing peas helps maintain consistent energy levels across multiple sprint and middle-distance flights.

What distances is this mix designed for?
Designed for sprint and middle-distance racing up to 400km. For long-distance flights over 250 miles, consider Galaxy Sport Energy, which has an even higher fat content for maximum pre-race energy loading.

Why does this mix contain four types of maize?
Different maize varieties have slightly different energy profiles and digestibility rates, providing a more varied and sustained carbohydrate energy release across the race.

How should I store pigeon feed?
Store in a cool, dry, vermin-proof container. Replenish feeders daily to ensure freshness.
