Frequently Asked Questions
Is this feeder truly squirrel proof?
The heavy-duty cast cage is designed to resist squirrels and larger bully birds. The robust construction makes it significantly harder for squirrels to access the food compared to standard wire feeders. Position away from trees, fences or structures that squirrels could use to jump onto the feeder.
What is FeedSafe antibacterial coating?
FeedSafe uses Biomaster antimicrobial technology to inhibit the growth of bacteria on the feeder surface by 99.99%. This helps keep the feeder hygienically clean for longer between cleans, reducing the risk of disease transmission between garden birds.
How do I clean this feeder?
Clean and disinfect regularly — at least once a month, or more frequently in warm weather. Use a mild disinfectant, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely before refilling. The FeedSafe coating supplements but does not replace regular cleaning.
