African Greys and many other parrot species can become addicted to sunflower seeds, which can lead to serious health problems including vitamin A deficiency and lymphomas. Johnston & Jeff Low Sunflower For African Greys is a specially formulated low-sunflower blend providing a rich proportion of nutrients while protecting your parrot against these conditions. Contains only 5% white sunflower seed. Does not include monkey nuts, though these can be added as a supplement if preferred. Available in 2kg, 4kg tub and 12.75kg sizes.

Safflower seed, natural groats, red dari, white dari, wheat, hempseed, white sunflower seed (5%), buckwheat, flaked peas, flaked maize, puffed maize, puffed wheat, papaya, chillies, dried apricots, paddy rice, coconut, banana chips, pine nuts, peanuts, pumpkin seed, diced pineapple, brazil nut kernels, walnut halves, vegetable oil.

How to Feed

Offer daily in a clean food bowl. Remove uneaten food regularly and replenish with fresh mix. Always ensure fresh, clean water is available. Complement with fresh fruit and vegetables, particularly orange and yellow fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin A.
