Frequently Asked Questions

What does VAM mean?
VAM stands for vitamins, amino acids and minerals. The mix includes extruded pellets containing these nutrients.

Which birds is it intended for?
This mix is intended for Australian parakeets, including cockatiels and grass parakeets. Follow species-appropriate feeding guidance.

What if birds leave the pellets?
Monitor what your birds actually eat rather than assuming they consume every component. Ask an avian vet or qualified nutrition adviser for species-specific advice if selective feeding persists.

How should I store it?
Keep in a cool, dry place, sealed between uses and protected from pests and moisture.
